I was just looking at your sandboxes. I think Morleigh Steinberg will turn out well. Two things:

• Please reword any copy pasting. The Morleigh Steinberg draft at User:Miss Bono/sandbox contains straight copyright violations (copy pasting from another website).

• Disable the categories until the article is ready at the bottom of User:Miss Bono/4th of July (U2 song) by changing, for example [[1984 songs]] to [[:1984 songs]].

Wikignoming is what small editing is called. Looking over small things like copyediting, formatting, correcting bad prose etc. Stuff that people tend to overlook. Those stuff do not require any external researching, and are therefore suitable for you if you'd like to try. The new pages patrol could also be a good place for you to be. Found quite a few pics on Flickr and a few other sites, but unfortunately none that were released under a license that would allow use on Wikipedia =( I did notice that Zimbio releases their staff-generated content under a Creative Commons license but there were no staff pics of Steinberg; worth keeping an eye on them, though. Per your request, a few ideas:

• The detail on what time of day she was born, and where her name comes from, belongs in the "Early life" section, not the lead.
• In contrast, the lead should contain discussion of her acting roles. If it was not for them, she would not have an article at all.
• "She ... attended New York University (NYU) prior to becoming an actress" cannot be correct. If she started NYU at age 18 that would be 2009 and she had already been in three films by then.
• I'm not sure exactly what program she is/was in at NYU. Was it a four-year program or something less?
• You only have to define references once. Change the tag on your first <ref>{{cite web |url= ... }}</ref> to something like <ref name="dailymail2013">{{cite web |url= ... }}</ref> and then for all the other uses, just write <ref name="dailymail2013"/>.
• I would try to integrate your "Personal life" additions into the existing "Early life" and "Career" sections. They are really a reflection on her upbringing and her entry into acting and her approach towards having famous parents, not a separate topic.

Vandalism

When you see vandalism, immediately remove it. Ignore what the vandal says. Keep working on the encyclopedia. I personally didn't see vandalism. I've looked through the page history and saw a personal attack that was reverted as vandalism. That IP also left a personal attack on User:Moxy's page, and was warned for that attack by Soni. I've gone back and left a 4im warning for the IP for the attack on Miss Bono as well. Any more nonsense from that IP and it should immediately be reported to WP:AIAV. As far as the rest goes, Miss Bono, please simply do not take these kinds of personal attacks to heart. Simply revert the edit, and/or get in touch with one of the fine people over at WP:CVUA, which I'm in training for myself, and let them take care of it for you. This removal of content by a user

I saw the flow chart in your homepage (^__^). Why there are 2 U2 by U2 userboxes (Template:User WikiProject U2 by U2 and User:Miss Bono/U2Userboxes)? Both userboxes, jointly with {{User WikiProject U2}} and {{User WikiProject U2 iPod edition}} will automatically populate Category:WikiProject U2 members. if we want to use them as WP:U2 Members' userbox[es] then we need to add This user is part of the U2 WikiProject and "owns a copy of U2 by U2..."/"has an iPod...". Else, we should remove both users & WP:U2 categorizations from 2×U2byU2 and iPod userboxes and make themselves of "general use" and NOT related to WP:U2. We can change the "double version" of U2byU2 by adding the WP:U2 participation for {{User WikiProject U2 by U2}} ("This user is part/a member of...") and by removing all categories from User:Miss Bono/U2Userboxes (Are you sure about its name→"'U2Userboxes"?).
I've merged and updated all contents and membership history from:

1. Wikipedia:WikiProject U2/membership list
2. Wikipedia:WikiProject U2/layout/members
3. Wikipedia:WikiProject U2/Members

All users who have responded to the roll sheet are listed in the active participants list, which also includes four new members: Cullen328, Unreal7, Teancum, and Fylbecatulous. Please slow down

Miss Bono, please slow down. Your zeal and dedication to improving the WikiProject is heartening, but you are going much too fast. I listed "Exit" and "Stay" as two articles that are near the FA level but not quite there yet. That means they need further work, not an instant nomination. You can't have an article at FAC and Peer Review at the same time (as is now the case with "Exit"), and you can't have two articles listed at FAC at the same time ("Exit" and "Stay"). If you are nominating an article for any process (FAC, GAN, PR, etc.) you need to make sure that you know how to do so; the nominations for "Exit" and "Stay" were only half-complete, and so I had to finish them off for you by adding them at WP:FAC. (I'll also note that it is generally considered rude to nominate an article when you are not a primary contributor to it, or discussed it with the primary contributor; see Dream out loud asking me about "Slug" on my talk page, for a way on how to do it). You also don't have to reply to everything that is posted; it can cause problems. Dream out loud nominated Wide Awake in Europe at GAN, and by replying to it you established yourself as the reviewer. That means other editors will not look at the article because they think you are reviewing it. It was an honest intention, but it means that the review will stagnate and nobody will review.

Please don't take this as a scolding, or as an angry rant. It is not intended to be either. Again, I applaud your enthusiasm and dedication. But there are established ways of doing things on Wikipedia. You are still relatively new here and unfamiliar with those. If you aren't sure about something or need help, ask someone. From the old WikiProject there is Dream out loud, Y2kcrazyjoker, Merbabu, Wasted Time R, and myself who can help you. There are many others just as experienced, some new to the U2 topics but still just as experienced about Wikipedia on general. Once again, your determination and dedication is to be admired, and I applaud you for it. You just need to try and go a little bit more slowly =). You don't need to step back from them entirely; watching how the processes unfold can be one of the best ways to learn about them. Why not start an article on a subject that we don't yet have, or expand one that we have very little information on. You can work on it in a sandbox until it is article ready and then move it into the mainspace. If you do that, you can firsthand take an article through Did You Know to get a brief mention on the front page. Make sure to read the nomination instructions so you know for a fact that you are submitting it correctly.

From there, keep working on the article in dribs and drabs, adding content and slowly improving it. Over time you can nominate it at GAN (just keep in mind that a GA review can take quite a while to happen because of their backlog). Then, after it passes (or fails), put the article up for a Peer Review. Don't just say that you want to nominate it at FAC. Ask for specific ways you are looking to improve it. Does the reviewer find it comprehensive? Is the referencing done properly? Is the prose (writing) high quality? Are the images using the proper licenses? Peer Review is a place to target specific improvements. Maybe you've focused too much on one aspect and neglected to mention another. Or there's something missing, or confusingly worded. Peer Review is the place to sort out those kinds of issues.

When that is all done, it is finally time to nominate at FAC. Look at other featured articles on similar topics first and look at their old candidacies. They can often have lots of ideas that apply to your article, so it's worth checking out. Don't be disheartened if it takes a long time to get reviews, of it fails the first time. Even experienced editors have that happen. A featured article isn't featured just because you think it should be one. There is a list of criteria that all FAs have to meet. Working on an article from the very beginning to the very end, from creation to FA, is one of the most rewarding feelings on Wikipedia. Just make sure to follow the instructions at each stage, and take it slow. Going through each process is the best way to learn how to do them. Nice logo, you just need to add an appropriate licence to make it clear that you are releasing it into the public domain. The easiest is to add {{PD-self |name=[[user:Miss Bono]] |date=May 2013 }} . HI...re your post on my talk

That is not an easy question to answer. There are several different types of harmonicas. I play a "Blues Harp". They are single-key instruments. To simplify that a bit, there are notes that they are incapable of making. I have several, in different keys. If you are trying to play the melody of a song, you would want a blues harp that is in the same key as the song. If you are playing along with a singer or another instrument, you would most likely want one that is the major 5th of the key the song is in. I do not know how to play a chromatic harmonica, which pretty much is capable of making all the notes. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance. There is wealth of info on harmonicas at [2]. Hi Laura. Don't worry, I don't find your emails annoying at all. I'm quite happy to help. My time to respond is just a little limited because of my present work hours (afternoon into the night), so if I don't see a message in the morning it may take me a little while to reply. On the question you asked, if you need a picture of her for the article then a good place to look would be Flickr. I've been able to find a few good images from there and transfer them to the Wikimedia Commons (such as this one for the "One Tree Hill" article). You have to make sure the image has the right license for it to be used, but then Flickr upload bot does all the work, including some of the license information. If the license on Flickr is too high for us to use, you can always try contacting the uploader and ask them to change it; not everyone will, but some are more than happy enough to help. Possible online sources for you

I know that you have a lot of trouble with your internet connection, and with finding sources online for your editing because of that. Are you able to see this okay? If you enter something into the "keyword" field (a song title, a name, a band member, etc.) it will bring up any instance where that is mentioned in that archive. Give it a try and see if it works for you.
I know that you have U2 by U2, but if you have any Spanish-language books on/mentioning U2, you can use those for sourcing too (anything except quotations, basically). Hi there!

I added a couple of references. This has to be considered a "work in progress". It can't be a sales brochure for the company, and that takes work, but the company is definitely notable. There is a sense of defensiveness in the article history and in the article as currently written about the percentage of African origin of the products, and other issues. Also, about their relationship with a an international luxury brands company, LVMH, which holds a 49% stake. You may be interested to know that LVMH, through its subsidiary, Moët & Chandon owns a winery in the Napa Valley, where my family lives. It is called Domaine Chandon, and in the 1970s, it pioneered the production of fine sparking wines in California, made in the style of Champagne. I am very, very familiar with this company. A day or two before my wife and I got married in 1981, we had dinner with her parents, and her brother and sister-in-law, at the restaurant at Domaine Chandon. We have enjoyed their products many, many times over the years, and just a couple of months ago, had a wonderful lunch there with our youngest son, David, who is moderately disabled. Nice good sound, and a feel good kind of song. A nice acoustic guitar tune in the background, and a kind of tangy overtone to it, because of the drums, as well as the base. Sounds good as a song, but is kindof hurting my ears. Having now heard the original too, the cover is a lot more lively. Good song, I think.

I am gonna tell you how I create my userboxes. The box at the bottom was made by my big friend Technical 13, you can ask him for that kind of help (I am not THAT good with code ;P). For the userboxes, I always use this User:Miss Bono/Userboxes/Sims as a sample for creating the others. You just have to change this parametres:

Journalism at Stanford

This program is now over 100 years old, and it is an intensive nine month postgraduate master's degree program for students who already have a four year bachelor's degree. It provides "individualized" instruction on a "small scale". There are 12 faculty members, including former staff reporters at the New York Times, Washington Post and Wall Street Journal. Hi, this is a three minute dance video. The music is Latin, probably Cuban. It takes place outdoors with a live band but the band is never shown, though briefly the stage is seen. There is a couple dancing, and about thirty people behind them watching. The man is apparently Chinese as indicated by a caption in Spanish. He is wearing a white suit. The woman is very dark skinned perhaps Cuban, wearing a flowery tight fitting red and white dress. There are some banners hanging, and maybe it is a dance completion at a casino. The problem is that WP is not a how-to website. WP:NOTHOWTO. So we really won't say that you should tell the child such and such. Editors should be linking to articles on childhood development or specific authorities/theories on the matter. Restaurant thoughts

Hello Miss Bono,

Thank you for the health update, and please keep me posted. I care very much.

Regarding your restaurant question, no one would travel from Stanford to San Francisco for a routine lunch, especially on a regular basis. It is too far and would take too long. And there are plenty of nice restaurants in Palo Alto, Menlo Park and Redwood City that are much closer. Maybe someone might make a major excursion for lunch to San Francisco on a special occasion, but not on an every day basis.

Also, I doubt that an international star would return to the same casual restaurant for lunch on a regular basis. Word would spread through online social networks, and crowds of fans would gather. Some of those fans might be obsessed, dangerous stalkers. Major celebrities avoid such situations, and treasure their privacy.

I don't know much about the day to day lives of major celebrities, but I know enough to be reasonably sure that they don't repeatedly patronize the same casual restaurants on an ongoing basis. Journalist for the NY Times (Novel Question)

Dices que quieres saber las exigencias de trabajar al Times. Pero se puede haber dos questiones aqui: Si quieres saber solamente de trabajar en un mejor periodico, sin que importe su nombre, basta licenciatura y un poco de experiencia. Pero si quieres aprender sobre lo que se necessita a trabajar al N. Y. Times si mismo, ayuda que conozca su jefe y que tenga las ideas adecuadas. Busqua Jayson Blair, Frank Rich, y Paul Krugman. I wanted to say there are two possible issues, whther you are just asking about a good newspaper, whatever its name is, or whether you are specificall interested in the NYTimes itself.

Well, the four major papers are The Times (leftist, cultural) The Wall Street Journal (capitalist, financial) the New York Post (conservative, popular) and The Daily News (liberal, popular). There is also the weekly Village Voice which is trendy and urban and unique to New York.

Why did you make this edit to NCIS (TV series)? Linking of "United States" is contrary to WP:OVERLINK and linking "English" is contrary to both WP:OVERLINK and the instructions for {{Infobox television}}, which specifically says "Please don't link to a language article, e.g., [[English language|English]]". --AussieLegend (✉) 13:33, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
